Grover Alexander baseball cards are few and far between. There are not many greats baseball cards to buy of the pitching phenom and Hall of Famer. He was one of the most dominant pitchers of his era. His 1940 Play Ball rookie card is his best baseball card ever produced and also his most expensive. One of the his most impressive accomplishments in the major leagues was his 90 career shutouts. He finished 3rd all-time in wins which makes him one of the greatest major league pitchers to ever play on a baseball diamond. His finest moments came in the World Series against the Yankees. He won both the games he pitched and threw 2 complete games. He was successful while pitching for the Phillies and the Cardinals. This is why all of Grover Alexander's baseball cards are worth buying. Pay close attention to the condition of the cards before you buy them. The most expensive Grover Cleveland baseball cards will be the one's that are in the best condition. This is a lot to say considering that most of his cards were produced in the 40's and 50's.
