Josh Johnson Bio-
Johnson is a large man, standing at 6’7” and bats left-handed while throws right-handed.  Even in high school, Johnson was impressive, being named Tulsa World All-Metro Player of the Year and helping his to two Championships.  As an amateur draft in 2002, he played in the minors until September of 2005 when he debuted as a relief pitcher for the Florida Marlins.

However, by 2006, Johnson was a starter who came in fourth for the NL Rookie of the Year Award.  Early in 2007, he had some elbow issues, followed by surgery but with a quick recovery, he was back in the game by July of 2008.  Some of his achievements in MLB include getting his first career homerun in June of 2009, being chosen to play on the NL All-Star team, and in 2010, being offers a $39 million contract to continue playing with the Florida Marlins for another four years.  At the close of the 2010 season, Johnson had a 2.30 ERA, making him the leader of the National League.
