Nicknamed “The Big Unit”, this left-handed pitcher set numerous records and won plenty of awards such as being a five-time Cy Young Award recipient, playing in All-Star Games, taking the Diamondbacks to their first World Series, sharing the World Series MVP, and being named 2001 Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated.  Johnson also became the 30th pitcher in the history of MLB to pitch an immaculate inning, won the NL Triple Crown, was the fourth MLB player to have a career 4,000 strikeouts, in 2004 at the age of 40 became the oldest pitcher to pitch the 17th perfect game in baseball’s history and in 2009, became the 24th member of the 30-Win Club.  Although he retired in 2010, his legacy is why so many people want to buy the Randy Johnson rookie card through eBay or other online sites.
