Best and Most Valuable Ryan Braun Rookie Card-2007 Topps #262 Ryan Braun.  This is also his most expensive rookie card.

Ryan Braun Bio- In high school, Braun was a four-year letter, playing shortstop and pitching.  Although offered several scholarships, he attended the University of Miami, known for its great academic curriculum, athletic programs, and of course, beach scenery.  In college, he was given the National Freshman of the Year, Freshman All-American, and All American awards, and became a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award, the most coveted individual college baseball award.

With a name in baseball, it is not surprising the Braun was a first round draft pick in 2005 as third baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers, where he still plays today.  After the Minors, he debuted in the Majors in 2007, quickly being rated Brewers’ Best Minor League Hitter for Average by Baseball America.  In 2007 alone, he received back-to-back NL Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month awards, led the NL with a .634 slugging percentage, and was named Topps Rookie All-Star Third Baseman.

Since that time, Braun has achieved many other goals such as being starting outfielder in the 2008 All-Star Game, coming in third for the Home Run Derby, being voted to the NL All-Star Team by Sporting News, and being listed among the 50 Greatest Current Players in Baseball, again by Sporting News.  With Braun, the sky is the limit, which is why owning a Ryan Braun rookie card, whether buying from eBay, Amazon, or some other online merchant is worth its weight in gold.
