Value of Will Clark Rookie Cards

The price of a Will Clark rookie card is determined by a few factors. The condition of the card or cards is vital to its value. The better the condition the more the Will Clark rookie card is worth.  Scarcity also a determining factor when figuring out how much a Will Clark rookie card is worth. Like condition, scarcity can make a big difference when it comes to pricing.

Will Clark Bio-
His nickname, “Will the Thrill” remains somewhat of a mystery, some believing it was given to him by his New Orleans high school classmates and some thinking it has to do with him always saying “I’m just thrilled to be here” in relation to playing MLB.  He was also called “The Natural” due to incredible playing abilities.  From 1986 to 1993, Clark was a clutch player for the San Francisco Giants, making his mark on the game with pure love and intensity.  During that time, he assisted the Giants in the NL Championship Series of 1989 and after breaking a tie, helped get them to the World Series.

Then in 1994, he was traded to the Texas Rangers, making the 1994 AL All-Star team and leading the team to two AL West Division Titles, one in 1996 and one in 1998 but in 1999, he signed on with the Baltimore Orioles but for two years, struggled with ongoing injuries although while playing against the KC Royals, he hit his 2,000th hit.  He was then traded to the St. Louis Cardinals toward the close of the 2000 season, followed by retiring on October 16.

He received two important honors, one his induction into the College Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006 and the other his induction into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in August 2008.  As a great MLB player, a Will Clark rookie card can be purchased online through sites like eBay or locally in sports memorabilia stores.
