Privacy policy
This policy explains how SportsX handles information submitted through this website, including SportsX accounts and direct orders. Purchases, bids, bookmarks, and account activity completed on Whatnot or eBay are also governed by those services' own privacy policies.
Information we collect
- Contact information you choose to provide, such as an email address, mobile number, name, Whatnot username, order number, or support message.
- SportsX account information, including your email address, display name, a one-way password hash, session records, and account status.
- Direct-order information, including order contents, delivery address, optional phone number, totals, fulfillment status, support or refund requests, and PayPal transaction references and status. SportsX does not receive or store your full payment-card or bank-account number.
- Channel-specific consent records, including the disclosed consent language, date and time, originating page, and related show.
- Limited security and diagnostic data, such as hashed network and browser identifiers, request timing, and abuse-prevention results.
- Website interactions such as page views, clicks, scrolling, navigation patterns, device and browser details, and outbound-link activity when an approved analytics integration is enabled.
How we use information
- Provide requested show, drop, giveaway, and newsletter alerts.
- Confirm email ownership and honor HELP, STOP, and unsubscribe requests.
- Respond to support, privacy, partnership, and order-related inquiries.
- Create accounts; process, fulfill, reconcile, and refund direct orders.
- Show signed-in customers their own receipts and order history.
- Protect the website, prevent abuse, and maintain consent evidence.
- Measure and improve the SportsX website and live-show experience.
Providers and disclosures
SportsX may use contracted payment, hosting, database, media-storage, email, text-message, security, and analytics providers only as needed to operate these services. PayPal processes direct-order payments and may offer its own wallet or saved-payment features under PayPal's privacy terms. Sensitive SportsX account and order-contact fields are encrypted or one-way hashed as appropriate. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users, SportsX, or the public.
For a Florida direct checkout, the delivery street address, city, and ZIP code may be sent to the Florida Department of Revenue's official Address/Jurisdiction Database to verify the destination county used for the sales-tax calculation. SportsX does not send payment-card data to that service and does not use it for marketing.
Microsoft Clarity interaction analytics
When enabled, SportsX uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use this website through aggregated analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings. Form areas that may contain contact or subscription information are explicitly masked, and SportsX does not intentionally send form-field contents to Clarity. Microsoft may process device, browser, page-view, click, scroll, and interaction data to provide these services. Learn more in the Microsoft Clarity cookie documentation and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Clarity cookies are treated as non-essential. Where consent is required, SportsX uses Clarity Consent Mode and passes the visitor's analytics and advertising-storage choices to Clarity. Declining consent limits Clarity to its no-consent mode and prevents Clarity cookies from being set.
SportsX first-party analytics
If you allow analytics, SportsX records a random session identifier, page route, approved interaction name, referring and destination domains, campaign tags, general device/browser type, and coarse country or region information when available. It does not intentionally record full URLs, form contents, email addresses, phone numbers, account identifiers, or precise location in the analytics event stream. Network addresses may be used transiently for abuse controls and are not stored with analytics events.
SportsX excludes recognized internal, automated-test, and suspected-bot traffic from human reports. Raw first-party events are scheduled for deletion after 90 days; non-identifying aggregate trends may be kept longer for site improvement. Consent choices are stored separately from alert signups.
Your choices
Email subscribers can use the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. Text subscribers can reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. Email and text consent are independent; opting out of one does not automatically opt out of the other. You may also request access, correction, or deletion through the SportsX contact page. The Privacy control displayed on the website lets you revisit your analytics choice. Where supported, a Global Privacy Control signal is honored as a rejection of non-essential analytics.
Retention and security
SportsX retains account, order, payment-reference, fulfillment, support, consent, and opt-out records as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and tax records, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. Administrative access is restricted, sensitive contact values are encrypted at rest, passwords are one-way hashed, and public website code does not receive database or provider credentials. No security system can guarantee absolute protection.
Children and changes
This website is not directed to people under 18. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
